ok not a major bug but unless you have a save file to revert too you will not be able to finish the quest so after accepting the quest and so forth you have to go find a mage that studies stars so off to winterhold you go and the most common of adventurer would check the inn to get info so in the inn we go now I like to explore a building first before I talk to people so I did and I found a mage named Nelacar in one of the rooms so i get to talking to him and sure enough he is the man I need to talk to so he sends me off to find the black star but before heading out I decide to talk to the innkeeper and he has the option asking him if he knows anyone who studies magic and he mentions Nelacar and because of some dumb programming on bethesdas part your quest log gets changed to find nelacar not to go get the star so ok lets go talk to nelacar so I did and ofcouse he already knows me and my quest log does not change back to finding the black star so luckily I had a save file that was not that old and went back and did it the way bethesda wants you too I talked to the innkeeper and then nelacar and away we went to find the star! and that is story of how I found yet a another bug is this wonderfully bug infested game thanks bethesda for taking the time to QA and beta test your game you most have spent months ensuring it was top notch so thanks but really instead of gunning for 11-11-11 release you really should have spent a hell of alot more time testing this game and going through many different scenarios of doing something a simple change in code to where if your talk to nelacar first all other dialogue related to finding someone that studies stars needs to go away.
