It's on the floor, and the quest log is telling me to learn it, but nothing happens. I think this might have happened because I didn't immediately go out into the courtyard to learn the word. But sadly I have no saves from before all this, so if it's not fixed my entire game is basically unwinnable. I've sunk many hours into the game so far so I really really hope this is as bad as it seems. :/

Try shouting another shout directly at the floor where the word should be, this worked for me;)

I had this exact same problem myself, but I was able to learn at least the first word. The first part was all I needed to go up the mountain, since using it once progressed my quest.

As far as fixing it or finding a work around, I have no idea. I'm actually going to try the above poster's suggestion and see if it works, seeing I've long since completed the main questline and the words are STILL there. /eyeroll
