Cool, gonna try this out right now on my desktop and my laptop.

Edit:

So far the driver seems good. VSync from the game menu no longer causes the intense stuttering previously experienced, so I can now happily benefit from the swap-tear (SMART) VSync option without the stutter.
In fact, all stuttering seems to be gone (my laptop previously had some). Game performance (framerate) seems to be relatively unchanged from the previous drivers.

Also, texture popin seems to have been reduced by a fair amount.

I recommend it!

I have not experienced that behaviour at all, although I think I know what it is. When you start up RAGE, it seems to choose the default brightness, even if you have a different brightness set in the game settings. If you then go to the game settings and change a setting and accept the changes, it will update and change the brightness to the correct value.

I just had a 50 minute session with this driver without a hitch. That's a record for me.

Good to see people reporting good results. I don't have a ATI video cards, but would like to see this get sorted out so we can move forward with a patch & maybe a texture pak, plus editor/DLC.

Wow, this pretty much fixes the game for me, it was absolutely unplayable before!

I really enjoy this game now, you can tell a lot of love went into it.

Too bad it was overhyped, because no game can live up to as much hype as this game got, its still really damn good.
