Hi, quick question here. Is there a way to purchase a horse for your companion or better yet have them use their own that they - I assume - own?

Just got Lydia but can't figure out how to make her keep up with me on horseback. I assume she will get into combat when im miles ahead of her and die or pass out or w/e which is not ideal.

Yeah she kinda just followed behind then decided to randomly pop into combat at some point up the mountain. Oh well. I dont like to babysit my companions so when they vanish I just pretend they never existed.

That's such a shame. Don't understand how QA wouldn't have brought it up though, it's such a blindingly obvious flaw that you'd think would be brought up as soon as a companion is acquired ><

When you say randomly appear, did they catch up, or do they just 'port to you when they get too far away?

As far as I can tell, the latter.

They certainly pop up beside you when you enter a dungeon or house, even if they were miles away.

Well, if Q&A found it and brought it up to the powers to be then there would be nothing for the talented modders to mod in at a later date.
