Hey folks,

I've tried every fix listed in this forum, gamesfaq, youtube, and google. All drivers updated etc. My issue is the music is fine but the voices are totally underwater. Not only on this game but now system-wide. ALL my games now have this same problem.

I have tried every option in control panel > sound that there is (changed loudness, equalization, volume options, enhancements etc) . For my headphones there are only three anyway - all 16 bit. Currently at 44.1 mhz and ive tried all three to no avail. I put a video on and again - the music was fine but the voices were all screwed up. I changed a sound option on the video to mono from stereo and i could hear the voices fine (for mono). Not sure if thats relevant at all.

I just use a steelseries plugnplay headset nothing fancy through realtek though it is a part of my system.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! thanks
