Hello people,
I hope someone can point me to a solution to this problem because it's driving me crazy.
None of the races in the first town load. Each time I try it, I get the loading screen and the CPU-fan speeds up - task manager says rage is taking up 40-50% of CPU load, but nothing happens. Eventually windows decides that rage "stopped working" and offers me to wait or kill it. This happens every time, no matter whether I enter the race from the game or load the last autosave that ought to start the race.
I verified the cache files, even reinstalled and re-patched the game - nothing works.
Does anybody have suggestions what to do? Because other than that the game runs just fine, no glitches, tears, FPS drops, nothing. Oh, I also tried the forum search but it didn't come up with this particular problem, let alone a solution to it.
