Equip an item that gives +mana, like the novice hood that gives +30 mana. Use the mana, then unequip and re-equip it to get 30 mana. Repeat for infinite spell casting.

This works? Must be a bug.

That worked in Oblivion too funnily enough

Been using it for several hours now. PC version, not sure if it works in the others. Put the +mana item in your favorites bar for easy access. Killed 3 giants and a mammoth at level 4-6.

Really. I got to go back and try this. Then mod it to not work.

Think you can mod the game to not randomly crash after minimizing? Or to actually know where the hell it's own textures are so i don't get pink bracers in shops? Or mobs to not randomly disappear while kiting them?

Ah well. It's day 1, these things will get fixed eventually.

So:

1) you equip the (e.g.) hood
2) You use your entire magicka reserves
3) unequip the hood
4) Return to the game
5) immediately re-equip the hood

Is that right?

Dont even have to return to game. Wearing the hood, use your magicka. Then go into the inventory or bind it to your favorites. Unequip then re-equip it, don't have to leave the inventory screen, and you get whatever bonus mana the item gives added to your mana.

Base mana= 100
Mana with hood= 130
Use all mana=0 remaining
Unequip then re-equip =30 mana
Use mana= 0 remaining
unequip then re-equip=30 mana

repeat ad infinitum.

Oh and apparently shooting a bandit in the face with 12 arrows from a range of 6 feet while you're hiding in shadows isn't enough to kill him/let him know exactly where you are and attack.

And what, pray tell, is wrong with pink bracers? Not "manly" enough for you?

If the textures were pink, that'd be fine. If the entire item is pink and has no textures what so ever because the game cant find the proper textures to put on them, not so much.

wait, so is archery still useless in this game?

I enjoy it. 4x damage sneak attack from the 100 yards=win. Just sometimes it does stupid stuff.
