My interest is Euhemeristic versions of classical myths, the history behind the myth if you see what I mean. Mesogea has a strong norse element, but wont directly relate to Norse mythology, though if you think of Lord of the Rings, Tolkien based much of his world on Nordic myths such as the Kalevalla and Icelandic Saga.
Mesogea is an earth based total conversion and there are civilisations in Mesogea that will be much more suited to Nordic mythology than Skyrim. Euhemerus was a Greek mythographer who considered that myths originated from the deeds of real people, so that Loki, Thor etc would be the mythological memory amongst mankind of real deeds and real people who lived long before. For instance Achilles, Ajax, Hector etc in the Illiad from a Euhemeristic point of view would have been real men (though the names would likely be different) whose deeds were remembered in spoken tales that over many centuries changed in the telling etc.
If you have seen the 13th Warrior then you will have an idea of Euhemeristic mythography. The film is based upon the legend of Beowulf, but of course there were no dragons and no Grendel in Scandinavia. However the story gave a twist on the tale, explaining how the myth could have emerged from real deeds. Mesogea goes millenia before Norse mythology as we know it, but if you want to get involved in quests and characters, lands etc that could have been the influence for the Norse gods and legends then you might enjoy Mesogea. As I said, its earth based and encompasses the Mediterranean basin and up to Germany and the Baltic, though the landmass is different, set before the North sea emerged etc.
Take a look at Mesogea and see if it contains anything that interests you as we dont really have anyone to work on the northern reaches of Mesogea, the ancient earth Germanic and southern Baltic lands.
