hey I am having a serial issue, cant get steam to accept mine. and steam network wont reply to me

I jsut want to know, is this how the serial should look like ( I live in austria)

(of course I replaced the letters and numbers with X and #)

is this how it should look like? cause it came in my edition and steam wont accept it

Did they give you a whole new package or just replace disc 1????????
If only disc 1 then the key probably doesn't match the new disc you have, as the key is different for each package.
At install it runs a check to see if the key you enter matches the one within the package your trying to install.
Its much like a Windows install disc, I can't use your key with my copy or mine with yours.

I got a whole new pack of 3 CDs. and when I try to put in the serial (exactly how it says above) it says its invalid.

Cause I have the anarchy edition and to get extra content there is an extra code here, but it is totally different than the one I posted above (steam would accept it actually, it just requests the game to be installed first)

found the problem. bethesda you guys made a HUGE error in the german editions.

in the cd pack, the code looks as following "STI-RAGE-GPE-MPKMR-BZ3KC-6G84M"

BUT the only part you need is "MPKMR-BZ3KC-6G84M"

why would you even put the first three tags in THERE??? the guy from bethesda germany told me they got huge amount f calls cas everyone was having the issue
