Hi ive just made the guy drunk , distracting the people at the party.
but now i've sneaked up the stairs , which above is a mage of sorts.
i can't see the mage and everytime i try too look he see's me and then i'm screwed.
i also cannot return down the stairs or the other guys at the bar see's me.
can anyone give me a tip or help me out please i'd apreciate it
because it's blocking out my game experience , because i can't get out of the quest nor get further.

I just ran past him. Once you get outside, your fine. Also, does anyone know where I can get the key to reeking cave to escape the thalmor embassy?
