One step forward, Two steps back...

So it seems like they improved a few things Game-play wise, especially with movement and combat...However they seem to have completely F'd some of the little things...The little things matter just as much as the bigger ones.

- Quest Items STILL getting stuck the inventory...Thought we learned our lesson in Oblivion? Why not, just like when you try to sell to a vendor who cant afford the item, some sort of display presents itself saying, "This is a Quest Item, are you sure you want to drop it?" - HINT HINT
- Houses are now much harder to customize...( I like some of the more realistic looks to them i.e. fireplaces/etc, but moving items seems so much stiffer, and you cant move certain items, so items that you cant grab in your house are "Stuck" in bad spots if you accidentally knock them down.)
- All housing requires "Quests", (Many of these bug and you cant get the house.)
- Containers aren't Sorted. (Everything is in a single menu, Very Sloppy)
- Whoever designed the levels/terrain gets props, much better than Oblivion; However the people who did the UI need to be fired. (What was wrong about Left Trigger/Right Trigger to swap between Buy and Sell)
- Combat looks better, but is less functional. (Favorites svck; Why not of sorted them with more D-Pad options? (Left and Right for Weapons/Apparel, Up and Down for Magic/Shouts)
- Whatever happened to the Famous "Cast while you're using Weapons" that was boasted about for the Oblivion Release? (Should of kept it in)
- Casting on horseback. (Yeah, combat on a horse is a no-go, but I cant even cast Clairvoyance to see where to go on horseback, I have to dismount, cast and get back on...Annoying when you're doing it every 20-30 feet.)
- Horses in general. (Why does it think it's a Tank? I get off the horse and it chases down anything that shows up red on the radar...Then dies; Horse vs Dragon? Pretty sure horses would run from them. Not a big deal, but still wtf? Would prefer if the horse did nothing at all, except let you ride it.)
- "Overcharged Spells" only affect the left hand? (Pointless for "Bound Blade"...Just throwing this one out there.)
- Torches are 100% useless now.

There are many more little things, but I digress, I mainly came to complain about the following;

- You cant create spells. (LIGHTING!)

Yes, probably rigged this way so the developers can say they've fixed "People breaking the game with them, or cheating." (Umm, who cares? It's a single player game...And PC players are going to do what they want regardless.)

This might hurt the people who want to break the game, but it also hurts others. If you cant create spells, you cant do custom enchants (Light/Detect life anyone?). Dont know about those that wish to break the game, but I play it fair; This means that WITH THE NEW SYSTEM. When I'm in mines or caves, I have to constantly take off my weapon to cast light. (60 seconds? WTF? I'm pretty sure the average cave takes 5 times that to explore...) I dual wield Conjured Blades, so this burns more mana to swap, cast, and summon the sword again...Not considering that most times [censored] just goes black mid fight (Understandable sometimes, but every 60 seconds? Most annoying thing so far. Wasting 2 skill points would only make it last 120 seconds.)

Another alternative is being a Khajit (sp?) Their racial is Night-Sight 30 seconds on self...Uhh, 30 seconds? Why not once per day for 300 seconds? (Why even once per day? It's racial yeah, but it cant be used to benefit the "character" in any way...it just benefits the person trying to see the Display.)

Yes, You can also carry a torch, but then you cant carry a shield/sword...In oblivion you could "Drop your guard" and the torch would be out until you drew your weapon again. Down-sides can be; "Fumes" in caves that explode in your face (I like this feature alot, but means you're forced to use magic to be safe). ALSO, if you enter combat and need your shield, you get to swing helplessly in the dark depending on where you are...So you might as well cast the spell anyway, as it lasts after you change to your weapon. End result: Avoid the torch.

Anyway, just my two cents...

That's all I read.
Oh wait I saw something about spell crafting being removed. That's a legitimate concern. Well until we get mods that add spells that is

Agree with most of that stuff. And by the way, the 'candlelight' spell is what I use to light up dungeons.

Since when are torches useless? I use a torch in every dungeon.

Patch:-

3rd person finisher toggle (im honestly sick of seeing me picking up wolfes by the scruff of their neck)
auto adjust brightness toggle, I find this quite nauseating.
fix the delay between switching hotkeyed weapons
be able to jump while sprinting

You cant use it if you're trying to hold a shield/sword in your off-hand, and also make gas vapors explode in your face. This is understandable, but when you put your sword "away" you have to re-equip the torch. Might as well just cast Candlelight if you're going to need that hand for a weapon or shield from the start, because you cant "Enter combat mode" and the weapon come out in place of the torch...

How very mature, and so is the rest of your posting history I must confess. If you do not have anything to bring to a conversation aside from meme's and bad attitude I recommend not participating in said conversations in the first place.

As for the subject of the OP I agree with most everything, there are a lot of small problems that could really do with a fix, overall the game is great and it has a lot of content but it has a very rushed feel to it, like if Bethesda wanted to do so much but only had so much time to do it so they ended up having to move onto new projects with the game not when the last project they were on was truly finished but simply when the basics of it had been laid out and made playable in the game.

I don't care much for casting on horseback though, yes it would be nice to be able to do more on horseback but I get the feeling that would create a whole new group of problems based around getting mounted combat/utilities working properly, which would just be another case of "something Bethesda wanted to do but wouldn't have time to do properly because of all the other projects they have to do too".

THIS. This are kind of serious issues than should be easily fixed by Bethesda.

I dont care much for mounted combat, I really just think that certain spells could be cast (Or just a single spell, "Clairvoyance") Nothing that is actually "Combat" just something that shows where you're trying to go...Makes sense to me, as you're usually using the horse to get somewhere anyway.
