i guess my mistake was choosing light armor

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 11:53 pm

i finally get my smithing to 100 and get the dragon armor perk and then i try to get the daedra weapon and armor forging perk and to my surprise i cant put a perk in, i really wanted a daedra sword that i have been seeing in the loading screens. if i had known that i couldn't go from dragon to daedric smithing even though theres still a perk pathway i would have chosen heavy armor. bethesda please patch im not wasting perks on heavy path just for the ability to smith one sword. also salt in the wound that all daedric artifacts ive found are heavy armor.
i would also like to thank all bethesda on creating the best game i've ever played, i can see you guys are passionate about your work

Thats just the way they designed it. I can almost guarantee they wont change it. Until a few days ago I actually had my perks planned out, assuming I could circle around at the top of tress, so that I could skip perks I didn't want.

Get Conjuration to 90+.
There is more than one way to craft daedric weapons/armor.

So if your conjuration is 90+ you can smith daedric weapons at a forge, or just summon them?

There is an atronach forge under the College of Winterhold, if you have high enough conjuration, you will eventually be able to use it to craft daedric weapons.
