Prima Online Map

Post » Wed May 16, 2012 6:08 am

I have some questions about this online map i bought for 15 bucks.

Is there a way to get the legend that has all the number markings on it i.e 2.24,1.23 locations ? Cause i am constantly having to look at the map that came in the strategy guide which is fine in all but the reason i bought the online map is because my paper map that came in the guide is ripping now from being used so much. But the online map does not have any of the numbers on it so its hard to reference back and forth with the strategy guide. So to me that online map is a waste of 15 bucks ! It has no use to me without the number locations on it. I mean yeah it marks all the locations and all but without the numbers tell you where said location is you do a lot of unnecessary looking, forcing me to use the paper map which is ripping.

Also does somebody maybe know where you could get a new paper map like the one that came in the stratigy guide ?

Any help here would be great thanks !

I got the collectors edition guide because I wasn't spending all that money on the collectors edition of Skyrim. I have yet to even look at this online map, what good is it? No really?

Can you get the numbers on the prima map or not ! If the book says look for 3.35 and i reference the online map and there is no numbers on that map to reference, hence rendering it useless !!

Why are you using exclamation marks? It is not that serious. LOL

I find the online map much more useful than the paper one.

Why do i use exclamation marks ? Because you can never get a straight answer out of anybody. I asked a question and not one straight answer, all people can do say whether they like the map or not.......I'm looking for help here not a debate one the map. I say it useless to ME because it does not have the location numbers. Now, can you get the numbers on the prima map or not, does anybody know where i could get a new paper map that came in the guide?

Seriously, calm down. Bethesda did not make the guide, Prima did. So posting in their forums would be a better means of your time to get your question answered. I'm gonna look at this map in a sec and see what the fuss is about, but unless there is an option you missed that I find. I doubt there will be much I or any other poster can do to help you, at least not here on Bethesda's forums.

Edit:
Ok so I checked out the guide and I can see your frustration for your issue... I don't see why they're not numbered and it doesn't seem to be a way to do so. So at this point the best advice I can give you is to take it up with Prima support, Bethesda can not help you.

Ok first off thanks for the help !

To answer Mark41, the numbers i am talking about are the numbers the index guide gives you to find a certain location on the map easily without searching the whole map.

Example.

The hold capital city : Winterhold is number 4.00, so now you can reference the paper map that came in the guide, find where the "4" numbers are then locate 4.00 and you know exactly where Winterhold is on your game map if you haven't located it yet during game play.

So i quess i am a little frustrated that i spent 15 bucks on this Prima map and it does mark everything, but there are no numbers, so if for instance, i have this Prima map up ok, and im in the way eastern part of Skyrim, i need to find a cavern on the way western part of Skyrim that i haven't located yet, the index guide says it number "5.23" now the Prima guide does not show the numbers over every location like the paper map does, so i'm still having to use the paper map which is now completely torn from a lot of folding....all the seams tore on it. So that is why i got this prima map but i come to find out it does not have the numbers ! Total disappointment. So i came here to see if someone could help me. Maybe i was missing something on this online map or maybe somebody would know where to get a new paper map like the one that came in the guide.

Thank

Ok so i think i figured out this prima map.

All ya gotta do is click to bring up all the locations then type the location you need in the search bar (that i never saw) then it will take you right to the location, so now you can reference that to your game map.

So sorry for sounding pissy before i was just frustrated and thanks.
