Hi,
been playing rage for a while and had no problems with it (barr stutterring) on windows 7 home premium 64 bit, however moved on to test windows 8 consumer preview and was required to reload rage involving lengthy download to update content anyway since after download completed I was hoping to play rage again however every time I go to launch the game I get a black screen and program failed to start pops up which requires me to start task manager in order to end prgram and get back to desktop, I have tried to run in all compatability modes and run as administrator but still nothing can any one shed any light on this problem and get me back playing rage please??

other games work fine ie crysis 2 grid, doom 3 etc

I have a q6600 with 4 gig ddr3 ram on asus p5kc with an xfx hd6700 card
