Terrible Looking Shadows

Does anyone else have an issue with really blocky looking shadows?

Mine also pause briefly every couple of seconds and shake, especially when I'm doing something like crafting or cooking. Is this just me?

they tried a bit too hard and failed even harder!

everything has shadows this time, it all likes great if you don't look closely to them.

The shadows look OK if you don't look closely as you run past them as fast as you can with your eyes half-closed. Otherwise they leave a lot of room for improvement. But seeing how this game is not aimed at scrutinizing the shadows I'm pretty sure I can live with it.

It's really hard to notice how effective the shadows are when my game is too busy having a seizure on my screen.

At first the shadows looked really bad. So I looked to tweak my tv at tweaktv.com - made some adjustments to the ps3 settings and the game looks much better.

Here is a link I used for my Samsung and PS3:

Tree shadows are fine, indoor shadows are beyond ridiculous.
