Hi everyone (my first post btw)

I love this game. Love the graphics, quests, everything.

I'm currently at the part in the thieves guild where I have to talk to that scholar or professor in Markarth. Now, I just finished that quest with the forsworn where I break out of prison with them. I should not have a bounty. I walk through markarth and not a single guard harasses me. When I get into the college place and the scholar asks me to kill that giant spider, a bunch of guards say I have murdered people and conspired (which I have, but that was part of the forsworn quest, and I have gone to prison for that).

So anyways, I was like, fine, I'll go back to jail so I can get on with my awesome game. So I click, I submit I'll go to jail. Then all of a sudden the guard stops talking to me and other guards start attacking me. I try to yield, but there's no way! I sheath my weapon and everything, and I just die. This is getting really frustrating because I want to get on with this quest and I don't have too many save files because I have a small hard drive.

Anyways, anyone know how to get around this?

I've been searching for a solution to the same issue for around 5 hours now. No Luck I'm afraid. If you don't want to load up an old save/haven't got an old save its a case of wating until it gets patched There's loads of people having the similar problem and it's annoying the bejeebers out of me too!

Thanks checkity. I just hope they don't overlook this issue. That is partly why I made this post, to make sure a mod sees!
