Okay There was a time when I was chopping firewood at Riverwood. I got an elf friend called Faendal who lives there. He helped me to carry those firewoods to man called Hod. Hod is paying 5 gold / firewood and becouse one firewood weights 5 (don't know what value) those firewoods are weight of gold. Only thing is that my friend didn't take to carry more than 50 - 60 firewood while I could take so much that I didn't even can run anymore! Then I thought that I ask Faendal chop those firewoods and he did. Well I was doing more than he was so it was just right for him! Well anyway I started to think that how long he can chop those firewoods, becouse I thoug that he has done already so much what he can carry! So I go asking hin how many firewoods he has already done, so I would know is it my turn soon. Then my mouth and my eyes did go wide open. He was carry earlier only under 60 firewood but, now he had already 150 firewoods! I thought that if he was just lazy before, he can do more and I just watch while HE is workin! I was satisfied when I saw that he has 288 firewoods. So many firewoods weight 1440 (somethin) so I thought that he can carry those woods to Mr. Hod's house (becouse that lazy bugger hasn't arrive to his working place) and I got 1440 gold from those woods! And how fast my friend run behind me with those woods! Oh that joy! He is a good worker...Friend I mean.

Now days I am the overseer while my good old friend Faendal can do all the work. I'm so happy Nord now. I and of course my friend can make nice money here and I can do some smithing with that money.

Btw Faendal has given his bed to my use, isin't he nice fellow?

:celebration:

Arrived to Riverwood from Helgen and started to do some firewood soon as possible:
Faendal's House: Level: 2 - Time: 002h29min36sec. - File size: 2917 KB

Made only firewood and smithing:
Riverwood Mill: Level: 2 - Time: 003h09min28sec. - File size: 3023 KB

Made only firewood and smithing:
Faendal's House: Level: 3 - Time: 003h29min18sec. - File size: 2916 KB

Made only firewood and smithing:
Faendal's House: Level: 4 - Time: 004h37min40sec. - File size: 2914 KB

Now resting. I have opened Dwarven smithing.

I told elsewhere that I have smithing over 50 ... but that was my old character. This is new one what I made becouse I thought that I left too early from Riverwood.

Yes you are right about that.

So shorty what I tryed to say.

First I tryed to offer that http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Faendal 60+ http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Firewood but he only took (Don't remember right number.) so lets say just 50+ becouse he couldn't carry more than that. But when I told http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Faendal to chop those http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Firewood he was capable to carry 288 http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Firewood even more if I would have time to ask him to chop more but I didn't.

So first http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Faendal couldn't even carry 60 http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Firewood but next he could carry 288 http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Firewood!?

He didn't carry weight of 300 but could carry weight of 1440 and even run with it.

It's faster to put http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Faendal chop those http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Firewood than chop them my self.

Is it clear now? I use dictionery same time as I try to write in english so my english is what it is. =P

60 http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Firewood weight: 300 and 288 http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Firewood weight is 1440.

Next time I would try to check can he carry all loot from Bleak Falls Barrow so I don't need to walk like slowmotion to back home.

I was pretty sure I understood, but the story got to my hilarity unit.

In essence I think what is going on... you are asking why you can give the NPC up to his max weight while he can aquire much more than that himself. I am not sure about the answer... I have noticed this myself. I would think it is kind of a bug... due to the fact your person can carry over max and still move - I think that has been passed on to the NPCs. It would make sense that you cannot give an NPC more than he can carry, it is not true... you can be given more than you can carry (you can receive quest rewards or purchase items that will top over your max weight). So... it is confusing none the less...

I did enjoy the story quite a bit myself, but I am sure your digital accent helped a bit. It is a good thing :-)

To me it seems as if the NPCs inherit 1/2 the ability of the PC - Unlimited weight/movement restriction, but the inability to be given items over thier limit.
