Where is it?

im curious about the tower stone. i saw someone say midway between winterhold and dawnstar, but somehow im now in a lighthouse, so it must be southeast of here a bit.

Never mind just found it in game

So where was it ?

It is in bottom right part of the map, find the line where snow and grass meet and you will see a circle of snowish area filled with geyzers. The stone is on the bottom part of it, and you will find a thief who will give you boots and run away followed by a guy chasing him there, so you will know you are close
