So, i'm doing the College of Winterhold Quests... i'm in a Quest called "Revealing the Unseen" where i gotta go to the Ruins of Mzulft, a Dwemer Ruin..
I'm in the part that i have to reach the Oculory.. but the door is locked and requires a key and cannot be picked(picklock)... I have already searched all the bodies, Falmer bodies and a Researcher that was dead there...

So where is the key ?


SOLVED

Theres supposed to be someone on the other side of the door who mistakes you as the researcher that you meet at the beggining and unlocks the door for you.

Face the locked door and turn 180 degrees.

Keep walking, walking, walking, go down into the hallway. Go as far as you can into that hallway. On the wall there is a chest. There will be a key there.

I had the same problem lol.

If I remembered correctly, there was supposed to be someone, a survivor of the expedition crew, behind the locked door. He will then pretend you're one of his crew members, and open the door. Maybe your game is glitched?

He's talking about the door to get into that door, now you just spoiled that part for him haha.

Piss poor quest design FTW. He's an over linear scripted ass-hole. The quest line svcks balls anyway.
