Hello, I recently purchased a new 250gb holiday bundle xbox 360 along with Skyrim and it has been giving me some trouble. at first it seemed the game ran fine, but not whenever there are npc's on screen the game gets really jerky and stutters a lot! whether inside our out, but if there isn't any npc's on screen like just in the wild it runs fine. is this a bug or a known issue? I do not have the game installed to hardrive, and i have tried clearing the cache and restarted my xbox many times, i also have the first patch. any help is much appreciated.

Try installing it, and see what happens then, I have it installed (despite the textures issue), and I've had the game only lag once (when there where two dragons onscreen at the same time attacking me)

I did try instaling after the problem Occured, and It did not help so I uninstalled.

This is what I don't get if I start a new game, before you are about to get executed and can move the camera, it moves really smooth with all the npcs on screen but as soon as I can move around it stutters when there is anyone onscreen but runs perfectly fine If no npcs are in view, this isn't a slight stutter either it is enough to jerk the camera around and really effect camera movement. And like I said my xbox is brand new and runs other games fine, could this be a disc problem or a bug? Does anyone have any info about this?

This is really bugging me...... I even put in Fallout: new vegas and that is running smoother then this with people on screen this makes no sense... i thought this game was supposed to run good, and it seems no one else has this problem, seriously i've tried gears 3 also and it runs great so it can't be my xbox which is brand new anyway, so what is this?!?! the game runs fine unless there are npc humans on screen then it doesn't run right, but with things like dear on screen it runs fine just with npc humans it really chugs and stutters and jerks around. should i trade out my disc for a new one? help me what should i do?? I've tried starting over, i have cleared my catch, i even when as far as to clear my cache and try it without the patch and it didn't change anything. i've deleted saves, just about everything.
