Hi. I set my video to default which is low. I have a Realtech HD 3000 Video card. Am having difficulty controlling the mouse. Movement is very uneven and jumpy and character seems to be floating instead of walking. Am an Oblivion player and have none of theses problems with that game.
Really hard to play and maneuver character and pointer.

Any clues, anyone?

Never heard of that video card, but I am going to venture to say it does not meet the minimum specs.

DUH. It is an Intel HD Graphics card 3000. The guy who sold me the Dell in June swore to me that it would run Skyrim perfectly.

Realtek makes integrated audio/video chips. If your graphics is actually just an IC and not a card, that could cause problems. I've had nothing but problems dealing with IC stuff in the past.

There are also separate mouse issues that aren't video related. Vertical mouse-look is all out of whack, especially if you aren't getting very high frame rates. I've noticed even on my system a sort of lag or something with my mouse pointer. Moves almost likes it's on valium or something. Haven't figured out what's causing that yet.

EDIT: Just saw your 2nd response. That's still an IC though.

Mmm...ok, so maybe I need to invest in a good video card?
