Ever soul trapped a creature, and noticed a barely noticeable extremely vague purple outline? Just about anything would be better than that... It could be a white/purple/green fire (to be distinctive from orange/some orange-ish colors which represents actual fire in Skyrim), ideally more unique than that, but even that would be a massive improvement to the current "I'm not sure if I really soul trapped that creature" state.
