So yeah, like a ton of other people, I cleared Driftshade Refuge before starting the Companions questline (just by exploring and clearing it on my own like I do in these games) and now that I went to kill the witches, got their heads, and returned to Jorrvaskr I'm stuck. The Silver Hand killed Kodlak, but since I already cleared Driftshade Refuge the next quest won't trigger and I'm stuck with all this dead weight in my inventory. I emailed the official gamesas Support team and got this response:

Hello *****,
Thank you for contacting gamesas Support. We are sorry that you are having this issue. Unfortunately, the only solution is to revert back to a previous save before you cleared out the Driftshade Refuge area. We are sorry for the inconvenience, and as this is mostly a gameplay issue we cannot provide any additional support for the issue.


So yeah....not even sure the forthcoming patch will even resolve this...looks like there are a few things they're just gonna sweep under the proverbial rug and let slide? Hope not...seems like it'd be an easy thing to fix in a patch since it's a pretty widespread thing along with the others.

I am glad you started this post otherwise I would have made it. I have the same issue, and I have read on many other forums they are having the same problem with the guild. I emailed the support team yesterday but no response yet, but wasn't expecting one just yet. Anyways this is a serious issue needing to be addressed if not taken care of sooner. This is not a wait 3 or 4 months and then fix it up.

I did read on the patch notes that they said they are working on a new patch and will release after gathering what they know so far is a problem. I sincerely hope this is one of them. I am surprised not many other people have commented on this yet.

All I can say is Bethesda don't disappoint me. If you do this will be your first time for me.

Same problem here! But it is not a gameplay issue. I had never been to the driftshade refuge before in the game when this glitch first happened. But....yeah it still happened. Then I DID go through there and murk everything for the jarl of winterhold's crown. Same glitch. I feel the same way as you guys. Very disappointing.

Having the same Issue................ the thing Is now I cant even do the radiant quest................... stuck with Dead weight and the whole experience is getting ruined.......... Really wish they would fix this.
