Just really curious, I really dont give a hoot about Vampires, but i am desperate to find a wolfy so i can turn? are they random encounters out in the wild? or is there a certain cave/dungeon i could find one?

yes, i have seen a werewolf... not fought it it helped me .... join the companions..

I became one by doing the Companions questline. But there is a Silver Hand fort where you can find live werewolves trapped inside cells for torture. If you pick the lock, you can release it and fight it.

In the official guide it states you only encounter werewolves in the companions guild, not in the wild.

If you want to turn into one do the companions questline
