Heavy Armour and Magic

Anybody know? I have been doing some basic tests but dont notice any difference.

not that i know of, you can still enchant heavy armor

but i'm not a mage character, so i'm not an authority

No I think they took it out.

But by default robes have good magicka enchantments, and armor doesn't.

It doesnt. Spell effectiveness no longer exists as a concept.

True, but there are some perks that only work if you have no armor so there can be reason to go cloth
