i contracted vampirism and went to the companions to feed while they sleep. apparently everybody wants you dead and dumb me thought a faction was an exception. anyway while i am up there i have a huge mob following me as i enter Jorrvaskr and when i leave aela the huntress is dead. i think nothing of it because i was currently doing a quest for her. i got a message saying the quest failed and went back to find her still dead. now i cannot do any companion quest for anybody because they say "come back when you're done with aela". please tell me there is an update coming out or something to fix this.

Hmmm. I would have thought Vampirism to be incompatible with the Companions Quests anyway.

My $0.02 He started one of the early (radiant) Companion Quests before that ... becomes an issue.
I thought she was flagged as essential, Farkas is (and he remains essential in my game)... so no idea.. Revert to an earlier save and feed yer vampire before returning to whiterun.
