I am connected to xbox live. but I can't seem to get patch 1.1

My current version is 1.00.5.0.

How do I get patch 1.1? = /

Is there any way I can download the patch manually and apply it on a usb drive or something?

Clear your system's cache... and then start the game again. It should install the latest patch.

I can't find the patch available for download on the internet to put on a usb drive.

that should do it, also how do you check what version you have? only game i have seen which show's version on main screen was halo 3.

Is it an item in the memory section?

EDIT: I believe the version is at the lower right corner at the title screen!

Go to Memory and on the device selection screen press 'Y' while having the HDD selected, use the 'perform maintenance' option.

Yeah, at the xbox dashboard go to System Settings.
Select Memory.
Highlight your storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
Select Clear System Cache.
When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes

Clearing the Xbox 360 cache does not remove:

Your gamertag
Content that you have downloaded
Game files
Console software updates

Clearing the cache temporarily removes:

Previously downloaded game updates.
You will be prompted to download these updates again the next time you try to play the games.

I just tried to remove system cache, but I still couldn't download any patch when I start skyrim...

I am 100% sure I am connected to Xbox live + having a Gold membership....

That is really strange, i have no idea what the problem would be, it really should pop-up especially when you dont have it. :/

This is so frustrating.... = / and I can't find patch 1.1 for xbox on internet to install it manually....

Maybe the 2nd patch will include the stuff from the 1st patch?

I'm having the same problem. Tried what you guys saud but no go. I just hope the 1.2 patch is going to be on.

if you've got an XBOX 360 witch is NTSC-J (asia/japan/HK) model, that would be the reason why you don't have the 1.1 patch. Apparantly those who have that xbox version will get 1.2 as their first patch (I hope, as I still haven't got a patch)
