"Patch didnt fix my problem!" - wow please read

Post » Wed May 16, 2012 2:08 pm

Before everyone freaks out I do believe no official notes have been released, so where is it that all the problems are suposed to be fixed in this patch? Someone kindly point me to where they said this? i am referring to the small little patch that has no patch notes btw, I know there is patch incoming to fix the main issues but there is no confirmation if that was even the one.

For all we know this small patch had nothing to do with the problem fixes. So before jumping to conclusions just take a moment to use your brain. Just start a new character and do a completely different role till its resolved, its actually pretty fun.

Note - There will still probebly be more patches incoming, this is not uncommon in game updates.

Bethesda told me in an email the current patch will fix the lag issue. I haven't had a chance to try the patch myself yet since it isn't out in America, but I'm remaining fairly optimistic.

I concur with this guy. Instead of actually using your current save file just start a new game. I'm inclined to believe that the patch will do wonders if you guys started a new game =P

The file size and no patch note release is what sways me though. Pre-patch patches are not uncommon. Im staying optomistic as well.

So why did they use the coming patch excuse when people complained about the lag issue? Then that means the were directly misleading people by giving them false hope.
Even though they did not directly say this would solve the issues, they did still use it to make people think it would.

And i dont feel like playing another character before i have completed the one i am playing.
I am going to ask for a refund now or to have my copy swapped for a xbox 360 one. Based on their past history they will probably not fix it at all and keep lying through their teeth like they have done so far.

........ start a new game?........ well the problem with that is, of course people wont have problems if they start a new f******* game, or atleast theyd have to play untill there save grew to around 8mb before even finding out if it was worth making a new character..... 12mb save with 90+ hours gone, not a effing chance id start a new game for some patch

I'll wait until the patch comes out before I say anything. I hope the issues have been addressed.

Well then just hold tight until I or some other people get the patch. I for one will be starting a new "f*******" game and see how it all plays out. You should have some results in a matter of 2-3 days =P

Hey Zidane. I was optomistic too but lag issue and all the others i was experiencing are still presentand i've actually run into more issues post-patch about one of which, to do with the favorites system, i've made a new topic. I am supremely disappointed and more than a little angry.

I just wish they would come out and say "Sorry. There was a screw up but we'll do our best to fix it." I just want some official acknowledgement, preferably from Todd Howard or one of the devs. I mean, is that too much to ask? Really?

For Bethesda? Yep it is, asking them to show their face it's like asking them to make a PS3 port that actually works =D
Oh wait...
