NA Patch Initial Playing Lag is Gone

Post » Wed May 16, 2012 8:57 pm

You can check my post history, I've had some nasty things to say about this game. But right now after downloading the patch, my lag which was constantly slowing down my game is absent. We'll see if it gets worse as I go but so far so good. I had horrible issues before this patch.

This patch did not fix my framerate issues, it actually made it worse. Dragons I kill no longer get absorbed, Every time i move to a new area (loading screen) my damage is not displayed properly until i remove my weapon and re equip it. The textures look worse. I'm quite pissed off. If Bungie released a game in this bad of shape the fans would riot. This game is now in worse shape than before they "fixed" it. I wish I could get my money back.

Here's my experience so far, very brief.

I loaded my 11MB account and ran it through some pretty rough tests.

I noticed right away that my FPS was worse, but, the game wasn't skipping as often, or much at all honestly.

So I traveled to the worst cities, Solitude and Whiterun, and both lagged a little at first but cleared up real quick, again with consistently low frame rate (about 20)

I don't know about ya'll, but I like this. Lower frame rate kinda svcks, but the lag is much much better.

As of right now I give the patch a B -. which is better than I expected it to turn out.
