Dwemer ruins SPOILER.. maybe?

Post » Wed May 16, 2012 10:01 pm

i was doing a contract for the Dark Brotherhood, where i needed to kill a bandit (hiding in dwemer ruins)

i kill him, no big deal, then i explore the ruins. as the game suggests, the entrance of the ruins appears unchanged by time. sentry drones still patrol. dewmer ore/ ingot lay on tables untouched (like people left them there expecting to come back for them.)

THEN i take an elevator down into the "makret" or what i like to call the heart of the city. this place is a mess! no lighting, random stuff on fire, AND i see falmer, besides being instantly hostile, appear to be incredibly stupid. they live in hide tents and light random stuff on fire.

BECAUSE there is no sign of forced entry, i can only assume the falmer were there before the collaspe of the dwemer society.

This is my theoroy... those things were the Dwemers slaves. how else would the dwemer be over a million years ahead of everyone else in Tamrial? Slaves revolted/ escaped captivity and over threw society (with sheer numbers) and turned the city into a giant petting zoo (various creatures are locked in cages, obviously for food)

Yes they were. You are wrong though. Thos little, "Golem things" are Snow Elves. They fled to the powerful dwemmer when they lost the war.

Such and such. Check out some websites on this stuff.

I think he meant "Gollum" people, although Tolkien probably chose the name because of resonances to the original Golem of Prague legends.

They kept getting fed some strange food the weakened the snow elves.(By Dwemmer) Over time they changed and went blind from the darkness.

dude... try reading some lore before trying to guess -.-

they are falmer (snow elves), and the dwemer supposedly vanished trying to make themselves into one god entity.

and their technology is from a power they had called ''the calling'' which is sort of like telepathy, meaning easier and faster communication over long distances.

and the falmer hid for a long time underground (thus they are blind), and they are called falmer because that is what their race is called. Just like high elves from summerset isle are called Altmer

i knew they were falmer, i just forgot the name. and you're only partially right. the falmer were blinded by the poison the Dwemer fed them! (activate gay face) -.-
