I've just tried to download the patch, it downloaded and then started to install, I walked away to make a coffee and when I came back it had an error message (sorry didn't write it down).
So it told me to turn off the system and turn it on again and try again, so I did, but the game went straight into the menu without trying to patch.
So I turned it off & on again, same thing, loads the trophies, internet connection working fine (tried wireless & wired), but straight into the game? The pluck
Do I have to delete my game and re-install?

Yeah I'd try deleting the game data and any patch data currently on your system and then start it again.
