I went to Solitude as part of the main quest. When I got there they were about to execute Rokvigg (I think). Silly me I didn't save it before I entered Solitude (well I didn't know what was going to happen, did I!). I thought I'd attempt to rescue Rokvigg but when I walked up the steps the guards went after me and in my attempt to run away I accidentally knocked over a bunch of people with Unrelenting Force (grr the Shout button is easily confused with the Sprint button on the PS3!!), so now the whole town is trying to kill me . Well anyway I didn't see what happened to Rokvigg. If I interrupted the execution does he escape? Would I have to kill the guards holding him to help him escape or is there something less dramatic I can do? Is it impossible to rescue him, is his death scripted? I am just wondering if it is worth reloading from a while ago so I can try and save him properly, when I know what's going to happen.
