My number one concern...

Post » Wed May 16, 2012 3:18 pm

I have been very nervous that when they patch the game they will offeer no help for people that already started the broken quest chain etc.
The one im most concerned about is the horrible glitches associated with the windhelm house and the quest blood on the ice. I love this house its the best one I have found but like many people I have no option from the house seller to remove the blood and body parts. Many people say this is related to how you progress through blood on the ice. well i finished the quest its over and done with. I really hope beth will still have a fix for people like me that just makes sure the guys has the house clean up option. also none of my weapon racks work but im sure that will be fixed regardless of weather i own the house or not already. Please bethesda I dont want to loose out on this house with my 200+ hour character!

200+ hours? Damn, you're doing better than me and my 360 is dying on me after my 180 hours.

I just want it all to be irrefutably fixed on a permanent basis. If I got that assurance, I wouldn't mind starting over.

I understand that but I love my character and the quests never have the same impact the 2nd time. after my first playthrough of oblivion I pressed A through all the dialog.

Tbh, I skipped most of the dialogue too on later playthroughs, but The Elder Scrolls/Fallout are never about the story for me. I only really care about the exploring, dungeon crawling, looting and all of the glorious free-roaming that Bethesda have created. Storylines come and go, but fantastic gameplay is immortal when done properly, and Skyrim will be (after the patches and inevitable DLCs) testament to that.

I know that with some people, not sure if this is your case, if you purchase any of the upgrades for the house before you pay to have it cleaned up, the option to have it cleaned up it permanently gone.
