One thing from Fallout I wish they added

I really like the random encounters when fast traveling. I wish they added this to Skyrim but made it very infrequent. If it happens too often its annoying. Rather than combat encounters I think they should be more like Easter Eggs..

Don't fast travel. I have plenty of random encounters when I walk the road. However fallouts were cool because they had unique encounters and you could only find certain items that way.

Hah i miss them too!

Closest i've had so far was near Haemar's Shame and a Redguard decked out in dwarvern armor came after me while a nearby Khajiit said "Im staying out of this!" which has never happened on any other playthrough ive done

I like fast traveling. Everyone can play the game exactly like they want. I just love Easter Eggs in games and the ones in Fallout were great. The ones in Fallout 2 were great but the combat random encounters happened way too often in that game

I like the proximity scanner in FO. not that it has a place in Skyrim, but I would have really liked a friendly version as Im always walking past interesting NPCs
