[REQ] Vvardenfel Import-ish mod.

Post » Wed May 16, 2012 9:36 pm

Now as we all know.

...Well, I know.

I love hoarding a bunch of random junk and randomly playing dress-up while I'm not decapitating dragons or riding bandits or whatever. I hoarded ungodly amounts of things in Morrowind, and hoarded to a lesser extent in Oblivion. But now I miss all my shiny outfits and thirty-yard-long claymores. So, now I request from the godly modders out there, to reunite me with my pretty suits of plate metal.

Anyway, before I keep rambling on like an idiot. I'd just like another mod like Vvardenfel Imports. See the Morrowind and Cyrodill equals of armors in Skyrim...in Skyrim. Like Morrowind/Cyrodill Ebony, Morrowind Daedric..(The picture of Cyrodill Daedric in Skyrim in my head is just..odd.) Morrowind Glass...etc, etc. Have them show up rarely, and a little more commonly around the borders to Cyrodill and Morrowind. (And of course some sets unique to Morrowind and Oblivion, not just variations of sets in Skyrim.)

Reminds me of the trader in Riften. Would you like to see my imported goods from Morrowind ? Yes please ! Iron mace...kettle....nordic mead....scam...

But yes Vvardenfell Imports was essential, but if I remember correctly it took very long to accomplish. Also there is no reason these styles wouldn't have made their way north somehow.

I want to drink Flin and eat Nixhound meat off of lime ware plates ;)

I want to do something like that, but with most of the armor in both Morrowind AND Oblivion :P
just set up an import store somewhere, then get help with scripts to add some stuff into the gear enemies can use

Well, I meant most of the armor in both. But really..Oblivion Daedric in Skyrim just looks wacky in my head..

One thing that disappointed me is that, despite there being an abundance of dunmer refugees from across the border, there is not a single pack guar to be found anywhere.

Can they not handle the climate or something?

they're probably all dead or something. Moons landing on your local giant volcano tend to do that :P

Yeah..I'm just guessing they're all dead. That or they can't handle the climate, being...dinosaur..thingies. And since half the population ran to Solstheim..

That or Bethesda was too lazy to add them.

The moon landed on Vivec. Not red mountain.

And supposedly, Azura's followers were given premonition and fled the province in time. Wouldn't they have a beast of burden haul their essentials around?

They didn't just live on Vvardenfell. There are still a large amount of guar I'm sure.

On topic, I loved Vvadenfell Imports!

Vvardenfell Imports shouldn't take as long to remake for Skyrim since, if I'm not wrong, the big problem of having to remake the resources so there wouldn't be any legal grey areas would already be done and all you'd really have to do is to make them a little higher quality to match Skyrim and match the stats to the equivalent armors.

Cyrodill Imports would need to be pretty much made from scratch, unfortunately.
