Is Magic Resistance working for anyone???

Is this broken for everyone? I haven't been able to test mine yet.

I read through the whole 7 page thread that you stated and everyone seems to agree that it IS NOT working.

Wasn't sure if its fine for some folks and they didn't want to disagree with your post and say its totally fine for them.

Magic resistance is for pussies.

Anyway, I think anyone who says they haven't had a problem with resistances probably just saw it listed as an active affect but didn't test it properly (or got lucky on some random number generator?).

It seems to be occuring across all 3 platforms and is new to the patch, I think that's pretty conclusive that it's affecting everyone. Even Gstaff made a comment on the thread, which is the most I've seen from Bethesda in the PS3 forums since release.

The only magic resistance that I noticed works is the shield perk that blocks 50% of elemental damage with the shield up, thats the only one I used anyway so lack of magic resistance doesn't bug me much just yet.

You can tell it's not working when you can kill a flame atronauch with the flames spell.
