Locating Potion textures

Post » Thu May 17, 2012 3:12 am

Good Day, dear Bethesda programmers.

Mind to tell where u succsessfully hidden the Textures for u Potions in the mighy texture.bsa?
Because my narrow and simply mind cant find them. Nor any in the SkyrimNexus forum.

Talking about simple mind: i imported out of curiosity the LesserHealthPotion mesh adn discovered it had 460 Polygons adn i just fought WTF.
The bigger suprise was when i clicked in my 3D programm 2 remove the doubles and it removed 260 Polygons.

Either something happend when i exported it via nifskope or a programmer just bashed this thing out without any fixin.
No heart nor Soul.

I Whats missing are the colors. or are they in the mesh? (what i dont belive)
I have 2 say i orientated myselg on the potions mods for oblivion and this doesnt look anything like a complete texture for even 1/4 of teh potions.

Ps: If this is in fact teh texture for all potion mind anbody telling me how i mangae 2 say what color my mesh should be?

Since you're already know the potion mesh you want, you can open it up in Nifskope and use that to find the texture you want. It'll be under NiTriShape>BSLightingShaderProperty>BSShaderTextureSet, then Textures in Block Details.

P.S. The people that make textures/meshes are artists, not programmers ;)

well that makes it clear for me now lol...

for me as an constructual engineer the architects are the "artists" and 90% of the are dumb [censored] who can draw lines and circles (no joke they are dumb for what kind pof work theyre doing not even the simplest formula get into their empty brain)
