I've just recieved the quest to meet Brynjolf down in the tavern in the ratways but he won't move from the market stall he was creating the distraction in. I've tried waiting near him, waiting downstairs (about 24 hours for both, 1 hour at a time) and he won't move. It's really bugging me (pun intended :Cheeseygrin:) as I loved the thieves guild quests in oblivion but now this SOB won't move I've been off doing other quests for a while and checking back with him from time to time but he just stands there.

Any ideas?

go just outside and wait till like 10am. worked for me but now i just can't seem to pickpocket the argonian

If you're on PC, there should be a console trigger to get him walking. Will probably take a ton of research to find the command. Good luck.
