My Dragon Found Reverse

In my excitement and naivety, I downloaded patch 1.2 without viewing the forums to glean the wisdom of those who've gone before. Previously, I suffered from being unable to devour a dragon's soul after slaying it. But, being a cautious gamer, I had a multitude of saves and reloaded prior to that fight. I left this buggy dragon alive--the one in the hot-springs, near the Bonestrewn Crest, I believe--and went about my business, loving the game. I had the texture issues but played off a USB and found that doing so fixed much of the problem. Once I downloaded patch 1.2, I played off the HDD and observed that some of the texture issues were resolved to the point that it pretty much matched the USB. However, texture issues remained. I wasn't concerned about that, though, thinking, "All right, first order of business: slay this pesky dragon!" So I zipped over to the hot-springs, ready to lay down a reckoning, and what should I encounter? The dragon wouldn't fight me, not because it was shy or in fear of my majesty, but because it couldn't figure out how to land while flying backwards. It darted about much like a drunken hornet, zipping from place to place, spinning like a top, and occasionally playing hide-and-seek by floating inside the mountain. After watching it for a while, stupefied and disheartened, I thought using the Dragonrend shout might bring it down. Alas, hitting it with Dragonrend sent it pirouetting higher and higher in a cyclone of stupid, until it vanished in the cloud-layer. It was one of the saddest things I've seen in an otherwise terrific game. I can't personally confirm the new and improved bug with resistances because I stopped playing after that. I am sadness.
Skyrim has the potential to be a truly fantastic title, but please, Bethesda, address these concerns and tell us that you're addressing them. I know patching takes time, but a little communication with your fans doesn't.
