[REQ] Normal leveling past 50

Post » Thu May 17, 2012 12:20 am

Is there a mod that keeps the normal leveling rate past character level 50? Every skill gain slows down to a crawl after that, which svcks.

And in a separate idea, is there a mod that automatically gives you the perks when you reach the skill level needed to unlock them? I want my character to do everything, and atm I'm using console codes to give myself the perks as I reach the needed skill level, but that's not an ideal solution :)

I'm sure your not the only one, i personally wouldnt mind it either.

I think there is a mod in the works that automatically gives you the "base" ability perks for certain tree's. Like the novice, aprentice, adept, etc. in the magic schools and such just by reaching the correct lvl.

There's a mod out there that uses SKSE and lets you configure how many perk points you get at each level up.
My character currently gets 2 perk points per level up

What I'd really like to see is a mod that's similar to "skill related perks" like the Fallout: New Vegas mod.

If I level up to 60 in Conjuration, I should get the level 60 Conjuration Perk, not a Skill Point that I can spend on Lockpick.....

*nod* Exactly.

I saw that mod, and I might try it - it sounds like a reasonable compromise - stick it to 5 per levelup, get 250 points by level 50, no more stress :)

could aswell use the console to give you the 200 perks points at lvl 50 lol. why use a mod for things like this. theres no difference in the end.

actually you dont really level slower after 50. its a % drain on the exp gaining with skillups that already starts at lvl 10. after that it takes longer and longer to level up if you didnt notice. this goes on after lvl 50 of course thats the reason you think it gets slower. but this % decrase just goes on. you would have to remove this thing entirely or make it stop at 50. dont know if this is possible at all without the use of the ck.

It gets much worse after level 50 - takes over 150 potions to get one skillup in alchemy in the 30-50 range.

Not sure where the curve is kept, if it's kept anywhere...but I could tweak the "Slower Skills" mod to be "Faster Skills". But then it'd be faster from 1-50.

Also note in vanilla you can abuse Followers to Train skills then get your gold back.

Yeah, but that's a bit lot like cheating. I just want to be able to work myself up to be able to do everything, not have to resort to console cheats to do it.

Money is not an issue. I've got like 50k gold at level 45, and I store pretty much all ebony/glass/daedric items I come across.

I'm happy with the progress rate 1-50. Gives you time to learn to play properly, as well as build up a lot of explored areas. I just want the rate to remain the same once I hit level 50.

It's not like anyone notices threads on the third page, unless it's something they're REALLY interested in.

I found a good solution to my problem.

Pacing Revamp (just the pacing part, using Less Linear myself)

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1296259-relz-pacing-revamp/

and

Enhanced Perk Points, set to give me 4 points per levelup.

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1299916-rel-enhanced-perk-points/

It's not perfect, but it's good enough for now :D
