image problems

Hi. I'm a long time elder scrolls fan (bloodmoon baby!) and i just recently bought skyrim for the ps3. While i love the game, ive started to notice that the alert text (like whenever you get a bounty or whenever you autosave) is cut in half (as in the rest is off screen) now i have a pretty good size tv (34 inches) and i have spent hours upon hours changing around my options and screen dimensions with nothing fixed....ive even just resorted to switching to MULTIPLE TVs with no changes....does anyone else have this problem?

It sounds like you have a zoom function turned on. Try going into the resolution options on your tv and changing it to 16x9 or "screen fit." Depending on the brand of tv, the latter option might be called something different.

Trust me its not my tv, ive tried everything but summoning daedra to fix this. The worst part is is that i borrowed my and played my friend's skyrim (for the xbox) with the same settings that I use on my tv, and guess what? No problems.

Yeah, sorry, I missed the part where you said you tried it on multiple tvs. I really have no idea then.

Yeah, see its really strange because I don't get anyother weird glitches (like backwards dragons or dead guests) so I guess i'm lucky in that regard but this is very annoying. For instance, I cant see how many lock picks iI have during lock picking! I have to guess until It goes down to single digits.
