DXDIAG thread locked...?

Post » Thu May 17, 2012 12:34 am

If Bethesda wants people to post their issues/DXDiag logs then why was the thread locked? I find it very hard to believe that they'd rather go through each individual thread (and I know they probably wont, there's far too many of them). Personally I'm having quite a few different issues and was about to post them in that thread before I noticed that it had been locked :/

There is a practically paranoid policy here about particularly long threads. Someone will come along eventually to remove the old one from the top, and if they need more DxDiag reports, to post a new one for collecting more of them.

Wasn't aware of that, thanks.

Please try a screen capture of the DX Diagnosis, then post it on Photobucket, or your preferred photo site.
You can then link to it, here.
If off site links are OK with the admins....

The forum has a 200 post limit and any thread that reaches that limit will be locked once it reaches it the next time a mod sees it --- they do this because usually by the time it is 200 posts in the thread has turned into just off topic flame fests. For important threads that still require more posts the OP will usually open a second thread as the first approaches the limit so chances are if more are needed there will be a new thread soon !
