My game just stays on the loading screen when I fast travel. Normally this would be an issues for me as I don't fast travel often, but the one time I did it stayed on the loading screen. I sat for about 40 minute before I turn my PlayStation 3 off. If anyone can help that would be great.

Do you have auto-saves disabled? Those sometimes make the game hang.

You really sat for 40 minutes? If it takes more than 5 minutes, something went wrong and you need to restart. Turning off autosaves will reduce your load times, but they should never take more than a minute at the worst.

I too am having this problem, as a matter of fact I was signing on to make a thread about before I found this one. I dont have autosave enabled, it just happens randomly. Sometimes it does it between fast travel but more often than not it happens as I'm entering a dungeon, building, etc. This only happened to me once before the patch but ever since I count at least 3 times this has happened (all at very inconvenient times....)

It's happened to me several times, I think it's just some sort of load bug, freeze or crash. You just have to restart the system as you would if your game froze.

To those experiencing this problem.

Have you tried to rebuild your PS3 file system and restore it? It is possible that the current saves you are playing on have become corrupted. This crashing happened frequently to my husbands game after the 1.2 patch on his 13MB save file (started pre-patch) and in the end he lost his entire game due to corrupted saves. As soon as we lost his file I restored/rebuilt my PS3 drive (NOT REFORMATTED!) and my 11MB game (started pre-patch) has never suffered the freeze.
