I don't know why, or how....

Ok, All I see on this forum is people posting how 1.2 broke their game... but.. for me it was the opposite effect, 1.2 did wonders for mine... My textures look great, previously bugged quests are no longer glitched.. my resistances are still working...
I downloaded Patch 1.2 at exactly 2:30 PM EST
I am using a Black Piano Gloss Xbox 360 S 250 GB HDD
and I had Skyrim installed since day 1
and my Cache has never been cleared manually

I don't know if this helps Bethesda in their research into what happened to most xbox users for patch 1,2 but I hope it does somehow

Textures have improved for some people (me included) but not all.
How did you check if your resistances are still working? Just because the numbers are there does not mean it works, did you try the atronach check?
This patch had no quest fixes in it, so that is probably just luck?

Bethseda must have done some code tweaking because Im getting minor quests Ive never seen before triggering, like Whiterun bully & delivering items around town. Ive been around everyone in town before and spoke to them all many times and never had these pop.

Though textures are fine for me, but resistance is heavily broken. I got one shotted by a low level bandits fireball spell and I am supposed to have 75% magic resistance and Im level 45 with 300 HP. So either the resistances are backwards now (they are penalties instead) or the magic damage is higher now and resistances are just not active.

Well first I stood around guarding with spellbreaker, Wasn't taking damage, then I put my Controller down and sat and watched, my hp depleted pretty sluggishly, I am a Breton Paladin so... I had to use a staff to summon a Flame Atronach and blast it with flames, didn't see it taking damage.

I have a Breton barbarian in heavy armor rocking a total of 75% magical resistance, and as I said I got one shotted by a crappy fireball spell for a low level bandit when im level 45.
