I haven't followed the UI modding much, but is it possible to get an alternate main menu that has the menu options pop in right away? As far as I can tell, there's no big loading going on, just a bit of atmosphere. But I have noticed I can't alt-tab until those controls are active, I don't know if that's a loading thing or what.

As i'm testing .nifs, I'm doing a lot of number-plugging and game loading, any time I can shave off would be a great help.

I remember reading another post somewhere about moving the movie file of the Bethesda logo to another location, so it doesn't play. That wouldn't make it instant, but it would cut a few seconds.

I have done that, which is a timesaver too.
