Skyrim kicks butt thread

Post » Thu May 17, 2012 6:01 pm

I thought I would post this to balance a few thing out in the discussion threads. I see so many thread titles with people whinging about the game. So children, this mamas commin in to give you a proper spanking, quit your moaning, if you havent got the attention span or the desire to use your brain to get tactical or up your difficulty level dont play. Pull skyrim out of your console/PC and go back to your button mashing games.

I loved morrowind but the scenery killed it for me, obviously the game makers heard this cry from many and blew us all away with oblivion, they gave us more tutorials and an incredible second world to lose ourselves in. Skyrim has gone to a whole other level, providing companions, more varied npc dialogue, even more quests (if thats possible) a completely new landscape, and randoming spawning dragons. For the first time ever I have pulled the 24 non stop game play because Ive been so drawn in to the game. This is the BEST game I have ever played, I remember saying that about Oblivion and Halo, but Skyrim has taken over number 1 spot. Thank you Bethesda for your 6 years of tireless effort! :foodndrink:

So come on peeps, get in here and talk about what you love about this game.

I like crafting. Not for the ways some people have been using it, but just making stuff for fun. Bethesda made it fun, and I like fun

Me too, it adds a little variety when I need a break from battling and its a nice way to level up in the mean time.

Thank you.

I like almost everything about it! I think magic is overpowered and archery is a bit underpowered.
Don't hate I just think if someone gets Pegged with an arrow thru the head then "Oh he dead." I guess I just like location damage but I can understand the difficulty of putting it in the game.

The Dark Brotherhood quest was once again, awesome.

One thing I also like is the variety in personalities of the NPC's. That's new.

Sanguine's quest was the weirdest thing that's ever happened to me in a video game. I was kind of letdown at the end though. I wanted to stay....

Game is awesome with some annoyances, but so vast and visual. So much too see and so little time. At level 30 and I am yet to get to all the holds.

I love the quests that kick off without your involvement, like...

Spoiler
The foresworn quest in Markarth where the girl is killed in front of you. I had no idea that was coming; one of my favorite moments so far.
