I could not understand how can he says sometihng like this.
There are alot of topics that is saying that 1.2 is broken .
Yeah they are really reading and looking to the topics in the forums for their customers.
I think that reply he gave is a joke really

the whole patch is a joke. the game was fine for me pre-1.2 now it is awful

The issues with the 1.2 patch were well documented by many PS3 users prior to the 360 and PC versions, yet they still rolled it out. As soon as the patch went to Live there were plenty of threads in the 360 and PC sections detailing the many issues it created. Several hours and many threads later Gstaff updates the 360 Texture issue sticky with a recommendation to download patch 1.2.

It is very hard to believe the issues with patch 1.2 were unknown to Bethesda before it was rolled out for PS3, let alone PC and Xbox 360.

my friend is playing 1.2 and he says its fine
im playing 1.1 and its awesome

i dont rly care bout the texture issues, but i do care bout the resist/weakness/backward-dragon/[insert ur random 1.2 bug here]....
but he said resistance is fine...still dunno what he means by that

so i think im just fine with 1.1 offline, and waitin for a patch to patch the patch.

but my new save is working fine. seemingly including resistances, although as ive mentioned before its pretty hard to tell if resistances are working without numbers popping up on screen to compare.

You can test it by attacking a fire atronach with a fire spell. Normally the fire atronach would not take any damage because of its 100% fire resistance, but if it does, your game is also "broken".

The easiest ways to test would be to conjure a Fire Atronach and attack it with fire spells. If you can kill it then it's broke. Likewise, if you're a Werewolf, go let some Skeevers, Vampires or other disease carrying creatures attack you. If you pick up a disease, again, you'll know it's broken.

not broken for me....textures are sharp and scaling properly...no resistance glitch...as far as I'm concerned 1.2 did it's job.

Just need some quest fixes in future patches.

Did you test it with fire attronach???
on another topic it is stated that even strarting with a new game they have the resistance bug.

Did you test it by conjuring a Fire Atronach, and trying to kill it with fires spells (They're supposed to be 100% resistant to fire)?

Or by becoming a werewolf and seeing if Vampires, Skeevers andd other disease ridden creatures can give you a disease (Werewolf chaacter are supposed to be 100% immune to diseases)?

Becauseuntil you do that you have no accurate way of telling if Resistance is broken or not. The menu section detailing Active Effects will still tell you you have them, but in reality they don't work. For you, you companions or enemy AI.
