Ok so I have been playing skyrim, but at random it seems that my monitor goes to power saver mode and then about 5 seconds later the sound screws up and just makes noise. Ctrl Alt Del doesnt do anything, so I just reset the computer.

I have tried on High settings, low settings, AA on and off, tried changing the sound settings to 16bit 44.1, 16 48.0, 24bit 44.1, 24bit 48.0, and have tried different resolutions.

I havent noticed a difference on the crashes with any of these, and this is the only game that my computer does this with.

I have been playing BF 3 on High setting so I know my comp can handle it.
Core I5-2400, Radeon HD 6870 1gb DDr5, 4gb Ram, Gigabyte MoBo


Anyone have an idea what is wrong or something else I can try?
