Respawning test + lag fix - PS3

I recently cleared out a cave and as a test I went back three days later. On my return it seems that All the dead bodies had de-spawned but the cave's enemies had not respawned. This shows how the patch has prompted respawning on bodies now. Also after logging in another 28 hours on the new patch, at first my lag was just as bad, but now it's fixed. I only get lag after a 5 hours straight of gameplay. It took 21 dungeon clear outs post-patch for my savefile to rise a MB. Where as pre-patch it would only take 2 dungeon clear outs. (my savefile is 15mb I could barely play the game before the patch)

I couldn't understand from what you wrote just HOW you fixed the frame rate issues?

I seems as though the patch has corrected the respawning in dead bodies which means that the save file has less to keep track of.

I also started a new game (reinstalled and wiped all data after patch 1.2 hit). I'm level 18 with a file size near 5 mb. I haven't noticed the save file go down past 20 kb, but it keeps rising every time I go somewhere. Thus far I am not having the same experience, but I'm not lagging yet either.

I've said it before, but whatever- here it is again. I did notice a drop in the lag when I first installed the patch, playing on an 80 hour 12 mb save. My frame rates never got as bad as Zidane Tribal is showing in his videos, save for a few seconds out of every minute or so. I played around 5 hours lag free before I decided to just re-start (bored with character).
