Note: I have FXAA off as well as anisotropic filtering, as i am forcing them on using Nvidia Inspector rather than the game's launcher which supposedly has some bugs. Also make sure to go through here and insert the line for your video card name in the sd3ddevice="your device name here" line! Set your game difficulty level (2 is adept), set your resolution and set your AA (display/imultisample=1 is "off), and/or turn on FXAA and set max anisotropy or leave them of and do it all in Nvidia Inspector.
Do not use the launcher when starting the game, start directly with tesv.Exe or the launcher will rewrite some parts of this.
With this ini file i can stand on a cliff near elgen and look towards the lake and see the water and trees and get 50 fps. Inside I get sometimes 100+ depending how closed in the area is and how much fire/water is there. All tree branches are moving adding more life to the world, the shadows also are possibly as good as we will get for now till bethesda addresses the issue on their end with a patch.
